Khondaker Abdul Motin, Editor From UN HQ, New York, Sept 25, 2018 :-Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said at the Nelson Mandela Peace Conference held on September 24th, at the General Assembly of United Nations Headquarters in New York, United States. “Peace must be resolved in a peaceful way to resolve future conflicts in a peaceful way, to ensure a future peaceful world, and to end the conflict The Prime Minister All disputes, such as international terrorism, the Prime Minister and urged world leaders to tackle the growing global challenges.

Sheikh Hasina said that the leaders of the world must come forward to face increasingly global challenges like terrorism, by financing terrorists, blocking sources of supply of their weapons and discouraging their shelter.
Sheikh Hasina said that we have to face the challenges of climate change, adaptability, and in whatever situation human rights must be protected. To celebrate peace and non-violence in peace.
He said, “To achieve sustainable development goals, we need to strengthen cooperation, increase tolerance, have diversity, religious and minor ethnic groups should be protected from discrimination and exploitation.”
The Prime Minister said that peace is still far-reaching, ending the conflict, human rights and fundamental freedoms still far away, for which Mandela has fought, the Prime Minister is not yet confirmed.
Many people in the world suffer from starvation and malnutrition. Describing ethnic conflicts, intimidation and intolerance, he said that many people are being forced to displace, torture and genocide due to discrimination, religion and ethnic identity.
Sheikh Hasina said in this context, more than 1 million Rohingyas have taken shelter in Bangladesh to save themselves from ethnic cleansing in Myanmar. He said that since independence in 1971, Bangladesh is committed to the establishment of world peace. The members of the peacekeeping force of Bangladesh are protecting the lives of many people in the world.
The Prime Minister said, “We are committed to cooperating with the international community to maintain global peace through the development of conflict, development and human rights.
He said, ‘Bangladesh has introduced the culture of peace resolution in the General Assembly session of the past two decades ago. It is the agenda of sustainable development in all areas of human life by eliminating discrimination from hunger.
Sheikh Hasina said that the vision of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu has shown us all the way to establish peace. He said poverty reduction, ‘Our investment in public health and education ensures the welfare of the people and reduces discrimination. We have established peace through innovative strategies through development.
Referring to Nelson Mandela, she said that she started her political career as a leader of the people. He fought against ethnic discrimination in South Africa.
Later, his dedication, dedication and sympathy for the people made him humanity the leader of peace, independence and unity.
The Prime Minister said, “Like Nelson Mandela, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman also gave freedom and freedom from our exploitation oppression. In the struggle for the rights of the people of the country, both of them spent most of their lives in jail.
He mentioned that Bangabandhu was sent to jail several times from 1948 to 1971. He wrote a few books while sitting in jail.
The Prime Minister said, like ‘Long Walk to Freedom’ by Nelson Mandela, ‘Incomplete autobiography’ and ‘Diablo of Jail’ have been mentioned about his struggle for peace and the people of the country like Bangabandhu.
Sheikh Hasina said, “Let us all work together and let our soul remain in peace by implementing the dream of Bangabandhu.”
